Because Wilhelmina was much older when we first saw her.

Well, of course they did.

For example, there was a time when he was sent away to Azkaban. A maximum-security prison.
As a result, someone had to fill in for his position.
And that’s where Professor Grubbly-Plank saved the day.
Plus, you don’t get a teaching position in Hogwarts without being smart.
So I’m sure the students were in pretty good hands as well.

Plus, she also had a pointed chin too.
